THE NATAL FOUNDATION OF HYPERLIQUID
What the hell is a hyperliquid?
Hyperliquid ($HYPE) is a Layer 1 blockchain with a built‑in decentralized derivatives exchange, best known for “leveraged perpetual futures trading”. Its native token, HYPE, is used for governance, staking, fee mechanics, and other ecosystem functions.
In English, it’s basically a super‑fast on‑chain crypto exchange where you can bet on a coin going up or down using borrowed money, without ever owning the coin and without an expiry date. Sounds incredibly risky to me! It tries to feel like a Binance‑style centralized exchange in terms of the UI while still running fully on a blockchain. It’s an incredibly risky platform, essentially a casino, but the token that powers the platform itself, the $HYPE token, could be worth looking into.
$HYPE gets its value because it powers the Hyperliquid chain. It secures the network, earns a share of protocol rewards, and controls governance. There is also strong speculative demand around its limited supply and the Hyperliquid platform’s trading growth, which pushes up the value of the token when general market sentiment is bullish. So investing in the token that powers the platform is like investing in “tickets to the casino” rather than gambling in the casino itself.
KEY PLANETARY SIGNIFICATORS
The key “birth” moment for the $HYPE token is the genesis event, which went live at exactly 07:30 UTC on November 29, 2024, where tokens were distributed to around 94,000 users, for claiming and on-chain trading. The Hyperliquid blockchain mainnet itself launched a little earlier, around mid-2023, but the $HYPE token itself had its genesis event on November 29, 2024.
The interesting thing with the Hyperliquid platform is that is really lives up to principles of decentralization. The teams are pseudo-anonymous and it appears as if there is no disclosed HQ or incorporation location. However, I believe the most likely city for this company to have been launched from is Singapore. Hyperliquid Labs, the official entity behind the platform, lists Singapore as its primary location for on-site engineering roles. The project was co-founded by Jeff Yan.
So, this gives us a reasonably accurate birth data of:
29th November, 2024, 3:30 PM, Singapore

The most striking archetypal features of the chart in my view are the following:
Uranus in Taurus in the 2nd house. As mentioned in other articles, the Uranus in Taurus transit was the transit for cryptocurrency adoption. This seven‑year period, with the planet of technology, revolution, and innovation moving through the sign associated with money, cash, everyday resources, and material security, has defined the digitization of money and the explosion in crypto adoption. Having this placement in the 2nd house of money and everyday resources furthers Hyperliquid’s role as a key project among other crypto platforms.
Pluto is within the first degree of the 11th house in Aquarius. Aquarius is naturally associated with connections, networks, the internet, and technology; in the 11th house of gains, communities, and networks (what’s more connected than a global marketplace?), sitting with the planet of revolution, power, and wealth at the critical first degree, this translates as: a revolutionary new approach to finance based on decentralization, networks, and cutting‑edge technology.
Jupiter, planet of positivity and expansion, sits in the 3rd house of trade, transport, logistics, and getting things from A to B. The airy sign of Gemini, ruled by Mercury, planet of trade, further speaks to a positive expansion in how we trade stocks, cryptos, and other financial assets.
Venus, karaka (indicator) of wealth, sits in the 10th house of reputation and career. This points to a project associated with real wealth, backed by institutional capital and inflows (Capricorn).
The Moon is in the 8th house of Scorpio. Scorpio symbolizes the potent, deep, and dark house of hidden wealth, hidden resources, and other people’s money. The “mind” of this project is on investments, shareholders, deep shadowy money networks, and real wealth and power. This fits what you would expect from a world‑leading financial platform such as Hyperliquid.
HISTORICAL CORRELATION & BACKTESTING
CASE STUDY 1: JUNE - SEPTEMBER 2025
This was undoubtedly the most positive price increase period for the $HYPE token since it was listed. This was a summer “blow off” phase where it had an amazing 300% gain in about 90 days.
We do have to be careful with astrological analysis with an asset that is so young - considering the birth year of 2024, the outer planet’s which often correlate best with larger price moves havn’t had so much time to cross different points in the zodiac.
Kicking off June we had the transiting Sun conjoin the natal Jupiter at 17 Gemini. I’ve seen so many instances of transit Sun conjoining natal Jupiter being correlated either with a temporary price spike or the start of positive momentum. This is a once a year transit however and it doesn’t always correlate every time.
By 15th June, transiting Venus, Karaka (Indicator) of wealth was also transiting the 2nd house in Taurus in her own sign, strengthening matters related to value and everyday money.
But the most obvious give away for the powerful price rise in my opinion occurs on the 4th July 2025, right in the middle of the powerful price rally. Look at the chart below:
At this time, transiting Uranus, associated with surprise, energetic boosts, volatility, the unexpected, technology, crypto itself and electricity arrives at the anoretic degree of Taurus in the 2nd house of money. It immediately trines within half a degree the natal Pluto. Pluto represents deep power, wealth and transformation, and the trine aspect is the most supportive.
Uranus in the 2nd house trining the natal Pluto in the 11th house speaks to rapid powerful expansion in finances and networks. A potent Venus in Taurus in the 2nd house also conjoins the transiting Uranus at 29 Taurus and also trines the natal Pluto, adding further support for this powerful price surge signature.
On top of that, the Sun at 12 Cancer adds some further support by trining the natal Saturn - promising sustainable gains. Indeed, these were sustainable gains, with the token appreciating roughly 35% in the month this transit occurred alone.
We see the price peak around September 15th, by this time we see the Uranus-Pluto trine start to wane as Uranus separates from the exact 1 degree trine. This is why I prefer to use very type orbs of 1 or 2 degrees maximum when looking at financial transits. Also note how the Sun, Ketu and Mercury conjoin and square the natal Jupiter.
This translates as a reduction (Ketu) in life force (Sun) and trading (Mercury), making a challenging aspect (square) to the asset’s expansion (Jupiter). This occurs in the 6th house of Virgo, a house associated with struggle, health issues and obstacles and so seals the sense of a peak in expansion, followed by a healthy correction from this date until December 2025. The local top price was reached September 15th.
