The Financial Astrology of 2026
Why the next year could mark a new era of cryptocurrency, tokenization, and financial revolution.
Financial astrology isn’t new. It’s been studied for centuries. In Ancient India, traders considered certain Lunar days auspicious for buying and selling commodities like grains. In Hellenistic astrology, scholars examined the Lot of Fortune in individual charts to judge wealth—a practice that gave us the phrase “Your Lot in Life.”
Fast forward to modern times: financial astrology has been quietly shaping Wall Street for over 45 years. Bill Meridian, who began studying astrology in the early 1970s, applied these ancient cycles to the stock market in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He gained recognition for accurately predicting major events, including the 1987 crash.
As outlandish as it may sound, the link between celestial cycles and market trends is real. Markets are cyclical, driven by emotion, and astrology can help us laser-focus on where opportunity may arise.

The Big Picture: 2026 and the Financial Revolution
2026 is poised to be dominated by cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, tokenization, and a complete financial revolution. And yes, you don’t need to be an astrologer to see that coming.
The year begins under the influence of Pluto in Aquarius, a transit that will define a generation. Pluto’s harmonious trine to Uranus, the planet of technology, innovation, crypto, and disruption signals profound transformation. To put this in perspective: the last time Pluto was in Aquarius and Uranus in Gemini, aligned in this way, was around 403 BCE. This isn’t just a once-in-a-lifetime transit; it’s more like once-in-hundreds-of-lifetimes.
This alignment points to a new industrial revolution powered by technology. Electricity, the internet, smartphones, social media, and early cryptocurrency are only stepping stones in this story. By the time Pluto leaves Aquarius in 2044, society and technology will be unrecognizable compared to today.
Zooming in from this macro view, the financial revolution is clear: 90% of the world’s money will become digital over the next two decades. We’re not just talking Bitcoin or Ethereum. Everything of value will be tokenized and placed into immutable distributed ledger technology.
Financial Astrology 101 - Jupiter Expands, Saturn Restricts
The year starts with Jupiter midway through its exalted transit in Cancer. From June 2025 to June 2026, we can expect Jupiter to expand asset prices related to homes, real estate, and housing markets. Why? Jupiter is expansion. It’s optimism. It’s growth. It’s exalted in Cancer which governs home, comfort, and security both literally and financially.
To illustrate this, I pulled data from leading housing market ETFs and related stock performances:
Home Depot (HD): Up 12.78% since June 2025, riding the Jupiter-in-Cancer wave of “home improvement” spending. (Jupiter is ‘improvement’, Cancer is ‘home’)
Lowe’s (LOW): A Major Home Depot competitor is Up 10% since June 2025, expanding into professional contracting.
Lennar Corp (LEN): Up 29% since June, it’s one of the largest homebuilders in the U.S.
Jupiter expands the businesses related to the sign it is transiting. For example, Cancer is home and nourishment. It is ruled by the Moon, associated with Milk and Dairy. IDEXX Laboratories, a leader in agricultural and dairy solutions, is up 25% in the same period since Jupiter entered Cancer.
Saturn Oppositions: The “No” in the Sky
Where Jupiter expands, Saturn restricts. Saturn is structure, discipline, limitation, and decay. Its oppositions are roadblocks, resulting in market challenges.
For the past two years, Saturn transited Pisces, opposing Virgo, the sign of health, wellness, and daily routines. Naturally, this correlated with strain in pharmaceuticals, mental health, and experimental wellness markets:
Moderna (MRNA): Down 80% from March 2023 to June 2025
AdvisorShares Psychedelics ETF: Down 20% in the same period
Cannabis ETFs: Down 60%
Saturn’s restrictive influence is as predictable as Jupiter’s expansion, if you know where to look.
Historical Confirmation: Jupiter in Aquarius
Jupiter’s past transit through Aquarius (Dec 2020 – Jan 2022) gives us a blueprint for the expansion of technology markets. Aquarius governs innovation, networks, and information transfer through the Ether element. During this period, the Nasdaq, famous for technology oriented stocks, grew 34%.
Meanwhile, Saturn in Aquarius (Jan 2021 – Mar 2023) opposed Leo, the sign of celebrity, fame, and creative expression. Netflix, for example, dropped 33% during this time, and even deeper corrections saw losses over 70% from October 2021 – May 2022 whilst Saturn opposed the sign of Leo.
