The Astrology of Ethereum
Bullish Gains, Bearish Turns: Ethereum’s Final Blast Before Fading into Redundancy
⏱ A 10 Minute Immersion Into Ethereum’s Astrology, Price Action, and 2026
The Quick Take: In this deep dive, you’ll discover how Ethereum’s astrological blueprint points to a surge in late 2025, followed by cyclical challenges and the risk of fading relevance in 2026. You’ll learn which planetary transits align with Ethereum’s most explosive gains, its sharpest declines, and how upcoming cycles could be your signal for strategic timing in the crypto market.
INTO THE ETHER: THE 1ST ALTCOIN
Ethereum, the more practical and advanced counterpart to Bitcoin, ranks as the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap and is often viewed as its natural partner. At its heart, Ethereum (ETH) is a decentralized blockchain platform that powers smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps). So, what birth data can we use to create an accurate natal chart?
I am highly confident in the birth data of July 30, 2015, at 15:26:13 UTC for Ethereum’s genesis block, as it aligns with direct blockchain verification and cross-referenced institutional records. The timestamp is precisely extracted from Etherscan’s immutable Block 0 record, showing 03:26:13 PM UTC (equivalent to 15:26:13 UTC), corroborated by established sources like MEXC’s historical analysis and Medium’s technical explorations of the mainnet launch.
However, there are two compelling options in terms of the location to use. One is Zug, Switzerland and another in Berlin, Germany. Zug serves as the Ethereum Foundation’s legal headquarters, established in 2014 to handle governance and funding with a structured, reliable approach. Berlin was the site of the actual genesis event, where Vitalik Buterin and the development team gathered in their Waldemarstraße office on July 30, 2015. They monitored the screens late into the night as the Olympic testnet reached its trigger block, activating the Frontier mainnet.
Vitalik has recalled this intense group session, marking it as the key moment when Ethereum’s decentralized network truly came alive. This gives us 2 potential charts for the true birth of Ethereum, but they are incredibly similar, and for practical purposes, essentially the same. The only difference being the ascendant degree shifting by 1 degree. So, for the sake of the location, I believe Berlin is the more accurate location to use.
DEEP CHART ANALYSIS
MOON SIGN & NAKSHATRA
The Moon is in Capricorn in the 2nd house. This speaks to the mind of the asset being on money and everyday resources. Capricorn gives hard drive, work ethic, ambition and strength to achieve this.
The Moon is in the Uttara Aśādhā Nakshatra - the nakshatra which translates to “total victory” or “the latter invincible one,”its core energy is resilience, integrity, and dedicated ambition leading to enduring success. The nakshatra’s shakti (power) is “to give permanent victory”.
This combination gives determination, strong willpower, and discipline for success.
ASCENDANT & NAKSHATRA
Ethereum’s Ascendant in the Jupiter-governed sign of Sagittarius embodies a pioneering spirit of exploration and unbridled optimism, fuelling bold ventures into uncharted territories with the fiery drive and enthusiasm of a true trailblazer.
These are qualities that perfectly mirror the Ethereum Foundation’s ambition to evolve as Bitcoin’s pragmatic, next-generation counterpart, expanding the crypto landscape through smart contracts and decentralized innovation. This rising energy in Sagittarius underscores a relentless push toward broader horizons.
The Ascendant falls in Jyeṣṭhā Nakshatra, translating to “the eldest” or “the senior most,” which bestows a commanding intellect, swift decision-making, and an innate sense of guardianship. Individuals (or assets) with this Lagna exhibit a pillar-like reliability, offering strategic counsel and fostering independence. The Nakshatra’s Arohana Shakti empowers ascent through adversity, granting the courage to overcome obstacles and claim enduring triumphs, much like Ethereum’s resilient climb amid market tempests toward scalable, triumphant dominance.
SUN SIGN & NAKSHATRA
Ethereum’s Sun blazes in its ruling sign of Leo within the 9th house, amplifying its core vitality with an innate regal strength that propels the platform toward expansive horizons of innovation and global reach which mirrors the 9th house’s domains of philosophical exploration, cross-border expansion, serendipitous opportunities, and elevated knowledge systems.
This potent solar placement infuses Ethereum with a luminous confidence and authoritative leadership, manifesting through the relentless pursuit of higher ideals like decentralized governance. It drives Ethereum’s role as a beacon for dApp ecosystems and creates a magnetic pull toward pioneering the crypto frontier.
D10 DAŚĀṂŚA CHART
The D10 Daśāṃśa chart in Vedic astrology is a divisional chart specifically dedicated to looking at the karma of career, vocation, status, reputation, and professional achievements. It provides a detailed look at the karma of the professional journey of the native or asset and the lifetime of karma related to its work in the world.
Ethereum’s Dashamsha (D10) chart reveals a compelling narrative for its professional trajectory and societal impact. A debilitated, retrograde Saturn in the 1st house signals inherent hurdles and delays in career milestones, demanding rigorous self-reliance, perseverance, and meticulous effort to forge success.
This is a “self-made” ethos that mirrors Ethereum’s evolution to a robust DeFi powerhouse. Counterbalancing this, Pluto’s placement in Capricorn within the same house bestows formidable institutional clout, generational wealth potential, and commanding influence, cementing Ethereum’s status as a globally recognized titan in the blockchain arena.
The Aquarius Midheaven further amplifies peak achievements through innovative networks, airy intellectual currents, and digital interconnectivity, evoking the “ether” of its namesake. Mars (ascendant ruler), Uranus, and the Sun (5th house ruler) cluster in Libra across the 7th house, underscoring Ethereum’s razor-sharp transactional prowess in peer-to-peer exchanges, market dynamics, and symbiotic alliances that drive its utility.
Jupiter, Venus, and the Moon converge in the 2nd house, reinforcing a core orientation toward accessible, everyday financial flows and value creation, positioning Ethereum as an engine for modern monetary innovation.
HISTORICAL BACKTESTING
We have a solid astrological chart for Ethereum. But can the astrology point out the biggest rises and biggest losses in Ethereum’s history?
PRICE RISE #1 | OCTOBER 2017 - JANUARY 2018
During this pivotal stretch, Ethereum’s value catapulted from roughly $295, surging to a dizzying $1,100 by mid-January 2018, a meteoric climb fuelled by astrological tailwinds. On October 1, 2017, transiting Jupiter at 4° Libra swept into Ethereum’s 11th house of gains and fulfillment, forming a potent conjunction with the natal Rahu, unleashing a medium-term price escalation as Rahu’s shadowy allure of greed and material ambition gets supercharged by Jupiter’s boundless expansion, turning speculative hunger into tangible market momentum.
