Ripples Through Time: The True Birth Chart of XRP
How Karma, Kāla, and Eclipses weave together the hidden rhythms of XRP - and why 2025 will reveal its true birth chart.
Ripples Through Time
When delving into doing astrological research on XRP, the 3rd largest cryptocurrency, I noticed something strange. Each financial astrology account I followed seems to use a different chart. One date on a YouTube video, another on a Twitter account, a third on Instagram. The very essential point that makes astrology work is having a deadly accurate birth time. Without this, you’re just gaining information from a rawshak blot.
So in this post, I’m going to give you a lesson in chart rectification, with the prize being a chart that works to predict the price action of XRP.
Spoiler Alert: the unquestionable truth to this matter will be revealed by the end of November.
XRP - Which Chart?
Four potential charts exist. I have seen each one of these being used by a Financial Astrologer.
June 2012: Approximate launch of the XRP Ledger and creation of XRP as a token by Ripple founders in San Francisco.
July 1, 2013: Incorporation of XRP Fund II, LLC (now XRP II, LLC) in South Carolina.
August 4, 2013: Around this time, XRP II began selling XRP to third-party entities, starting active market sales.
September 4, 2013: XRP II registered as a Money Services Business (MSB) with FinCEN, marking formal regulatory compliance. Ripple Labs rebranded from OpenCoin to Ripple Labs officially.
Remember, an astrological chart is a graphical user interface of the Karma and Kala of the thing that came into existence at that moment.
karma (कर्म): Causal Action & It’s Effects
Kāla (काल): “The Quality of Time as the Revealer of Karma.”
If karma is the seed and causal action, kāla is the season in which that seed ripens.
Chart 1: 2nd June, 2012
This is a powerful chart. The ruler of the Ascendant sits strongly in the 10th house in its own sign of Gemini, joined by Venus, the Sun, and Ketu. The 1st lord in the 10th, the 10th lord in the 10th, the 11th lord in the 9th, and the 9th lord in the 10th create a potent flow of dharma, karma, and gains. With the 7th lord in the 9th and the 4th lord also in the 9th, the chart carries a strong momentum for worldly visibility and influence.
From November to December 2024, we saw an explosive period emerge for XRP.

During this time period for Chart 1, the Jupiter return in Taurus becomes active while Jupiter simultaneously transits the 10th house stellium. Uranus hovers within two degrees of Jupiter, intensifying the energy. On November 18th, transit Venus conjoins natal Pluto while squaring Uranus, with the Sun opposing Jupiter—clear signs of volatility. By December 3rd, the Sun opposes the natal Sun while Saturn squares it, marking a major culmination point. That local top was found on December 7th, 2024.
The next big surge for XRP arrived in July 2025. At this time, for Chart 1, Jupiter transited the Sun in the 11th house, amplifying networks and gains, while the Jupiter return from May 2024 remained active. Uranus and Venus conjoined natal Pluto, and by July 13th, Mars returned to the 1st house just as Uranus entered the 10th and Venus sweeps through. The result is a powerful upward push.
By July 23rd, however, a cooling-off period begins. Transit Jupiter opposes natal Pluto, the Sun shifts into the 12th house, and Mercury (the ruler of the Ascendant) turns retrograde. This signals a slowing of momentum after the peak. Interestingly, when Jupiter crossed the 10th house stellium earlier, XRP dropped by 6.37%, possibly due to Jupiter’s debilitation in Gemini.
Looking at longer cycles, XRP’s explosion in 2024 aligns with its 12th year according to this chart, a 1st house profection year, emphasising self-identity, confidence and an “it’s all about me” vibe, perfectly matching the timing of its rise.
Chart 2: July 1st, 2013
On July 1, 2013, XRP Fund II, LLC (now XRP II, LLC) was incorporated in South Carolina. This subsidiary was established to handle wholesale XRP sales, effectively marking XRP’s institutional and financial market “birth.” The chart for this date has Virgo rising, with the ruler of the Ascendant in the 11th house. The 10th lord and 11th lord also sit in the 11th, while the 9th lord falls in the 12th. Altogether, this creates a strong configuration emphasising gains, networks, and collective expansion, but the 9th lord Venus being in the 12th house tucks away some of that luxury and material qualities behind closed doors.
In this chart, the Jupiter return began on June 16, 2025, with the Sun and Jupiter sweeping through the 11th house stellium between June 16 and July 23, 2025. This directly coincided with XRP’s 12th birthday, a 1st house profection year, and marked the July pump that topped around $3.55. So far, so good.
Earlier in the year, from March 1st–3rd, 2025, XRP surged 30%. In this chart, this aligned with Jupiter transiting the 10th house and sextiling natal Uranus, while Venus crossed over natal Uranus, sparking sudden growth. From January 10th to 18th, another rally occurred while Jupiter retrograded through the 10th house. At the same time, Venus, ruler of the 2nd house, was exalted in Pisces in the 7th, and Mercury conjoined natal Pluto on January 15th. Once again, transit Jupiter in the 10th trined natal Uranus, a great aspect that repeated the growth signature.
By mid-2025, XRP was already up 44% year-to-date, reflecting this profectional strength of entering its 1st house profection year from July 1st.
But this doesn’t explain the November 2024 explosion. Sure, at that time for this chart, Jupiter transited the 10th house, conjunct the Midheaven, while Venus conjoined Pluto, creating a screaming signature for growth. However, the Jupiter return was not active at that time, and crucially, XRP would have been in a 12th house profection year. The 12th house is suffering, illness, loss, and dispersion of energy. How on earth could a 380% rise occur in a 12th house profection year, despite the positive transits at the time? This is a big issue with this chart.
Chart 3: August 4th, 2013
On August 4, 2013, in Columbia, South Carolina, XRP II began selling XRP to third-party entities, marking the start of its active market sales. The chart for this date has Libra rising, with a powerful stellium in the 10th house. However, the ruler of the Ascendant is placed in the 12th house in debilitation, creating a significant weakness despite the career-oriented powerhouse strength of the 10th house stellium.
In this chart, the Sun and Jupiter transited the 10th house stellium on July 1, 2025, hitting each one of those planets in the 10th house. The Jupiter return went exact on July 15, 2025 - right at the time of the major pump. At first glance, this could be taken as a very strong indicator.
However, when examining earlier rallies, the chart begins to break down. The January 10th–19th, 2025, pump coincided with debilitated Mars retrograde transiting the 10th house, debilitated Jupiter transiting the 9th, and Saturn opposing the ruler of the Ascendant. These signatures are typically obstructive and negative, not expansive, and do not point to a significant pump, so there’s a huge disconnect between what the chart was doing and what the price was doing.
The March 1st–3rd, 2025 rally also doesn’t align well with this chart. At that time, debilitated Mars transited the 10th house, debilitated Jupiter the 9th, and Saturn was still opposed to the Ascendant lord within five degrees. While Jupiter did sextile Uranus and the Sun, the overall conditions were too weak to justify such a sharp rise.
The profectional cycle also fails to support this timing. According to this chart, the 1st house profection year would not begin until August 4, 2025. The July pump would have occurred in a 12th house profection year, which is typically a hidden or dissolving phase, not one of major visibility or breakthrough. Indeed, since August 2025, XRP has only risen by about 1%.
Altogether, the timing and signatures suggest this is not the correct chart for explaining the July 2025 pump.
Chart 4: September 4th, 2013
On September 4, 2013, in Columbia, South Carolina, XRP II registered as a Money Services Business (MSB) with FinCEN, marking its formal entry into regulatory compliance. The chart for this date has Scorpio rising, with the Ascendant ruler in the 10th house and the 10th lord in the 11th. Jupiter is exalted in the 9th house, and Rahu sits on the Ascendant. At first glance, this looks like a very strong and promising chart, with powerful dharma, karma, and gains alignments. It’s almost freaky that each potential chart for XRP is such a strong one, far above average. Or perhaps this is just the quality of the time period (Kala) reflecting back the events (Karma) taking place at this time.
Unfortunately, the transits do not fully support the major rallies. During the July 2025 pump, Mercury transited the 10th house, and on July 6th, the Sun conjoined natal Jupiter. These are both positive indicators, but not enough to account for such a strong surge. More importantly, the Jupiter return in this chart did not occur until August 16, 2025, by which point XRP had dropped by 6%.
Looking at the January 10th–19th rally, the picture is also weak. Transiting Mars and Jupiter were both debilitated in the 9th and 8th houses, with too many retrogrades to support a breakout. Although Jupiter sextiled natal Uranus and Mercury conjoined natal Jupiter on January 14th, these were not sufficient to generate such a sharp pump under otherwise obstructive conditions.
From a profectional standpoint, the July pump fell within a 12th house profection year for this chart. It just doesn’t add up.
Taken together, this chart carries good foundational strength but does not match the timing or character of XRP’s biggest rallies. It is therefore unlikely to be the correct chart.
Total Eclipse of the Chart
So, by deduction, the two most likely charts are:
2nd June 2012, 12:00 in San Francisco
1st July 2013, Midday, Columbia, SC
The problem is, they both seem to work well, and a decent astrologer could find transit aspects that support both charts. I even have a highly competent colleague who had to backtest both using a unique system, as they both “seemed” to work at first.
So, I decided to run an acid test of sorts. I would backtest previous eclipse cycles for each chart and measure the price increase or decrease of XRP for 2 weeks, either side of the eclipse. Eclipses bring volatility and should help highlight which chart resonated more through price volatility.

Analysing the Data
And it was from this research that I believed I found the true chart. You see, Chart 2, the July 2013 chart, aligns better with the magnitude and direction of XRP price movements in almost all cases. Chart 1 sometimes aligns in degree proximity (like Mar 29, 2024), but price outcomes are more consistent with Chart 2’s angular relationships to key planets.
Eclipses near natal Moon, Saturn, Pluto, or MC in Chart 2 tend to produce the strongest positive or negative reactions. I also couldn’t ignore the solar eclipse hitting the exact midheaven degree at 19 degrees Gemini on chart 2, leading to a strong 33% downward trend. Chart 2 seems most likely to be the “true” chart, as it consistently explains the timing and direction of XRP moves around eclipses. But there was still something bugging me. If XRP was born in 2013, then its legendary November 2014 pump would have occurred in a 12th house profection year, a year associated with loss. A year associated with pretty much the ‘worst’ house in a chart.
The Nakshatra Test
Nakshatra or Nakṣatram are often misunderstood as “constellations,” “stars,” or even “signs,” but in Vedic Astrology, they are something distinct. They are a segment of groups of stars along the ecliptic that the Moon visibly passes through, rather than a single fixed star or zodiac sign. Each segment is anchored to one or more reference stars (often a star or small cluster), but the Nakshatra itself is the slice of sky, not the star. Since the Moon moves roughly 13°–14° per day, it passes through one Nakshatra per day, which is why the Moon’s Nakshatra is central in Vedic astrology for understanding personality, mental tendencies, and timing of events. Note for astrologers - I’m using a tropical zodiac and “sidereal” Nakshatras, since Nakshatras are inherently fixed to the stars, but the Rashis (Signs) are not. Please see the research of Ernst Wilhelm, Ryan Kurzak and Vic Dicara.
In analysing the “character” of a person, we look at the Nakshatra of the Ascendant, Moon, and sometimes Sun.
Nakṣatram of XRP -1st July, 2013 in Columbia, South Carolina
Moon in Aśvinī. This embodies qualities of determination, endurance, valour, and strong vitality, influenced by the rulership of Ketu and the energy of Mars. Ashwini is seen as a symbol of new beginnings, rejuvenation, and regeneration, with the power to bring back life or initiate fresh starts. It has a free-spirited, independent, and self-centric nature, often marked by a strong sexual urge and a majestic, energetic presence.
Ascendant in Uttara Phalguṇī. This embodies powerfully confident, industrious, and radiant qualities. Individuals with this placement are strong leaders who inspire confidence and tend to receive favours such as marriage, promotion, or gifts, though these often come with additional pressure to perform and maintain harmony. High positions of wealth and power, and social work or philanthropy are indicated.
Sun in Ārdrā. Sharp, intense, and transformative qualities. Ardra is associated with stormy, fierce energies symbolising destruction and renewal, making this placement reflective of profound change and emotional depth. The Sun here is often linked to a fiery, restless nature with a strong drive to confront challenges directly, even if it means upheaval. This is the “emotional storm” nakshatra.
With the Moon in Aśvinī, this chart carries a determined, energetic, and pioneering spirit, driven by vitality, independence, and a strong urge for new beginnings. The Uttara Phalguṇī Ascendant and Sun in Ārdrā combine confident leadership, social influence, and a transformative, stormy intensity, making it capable of initiating change, inspiring others, and navigating emotional upheavals with courage. For me, it’s a 6/10 match with XRP’s energy.
Nakṣatram of XRP - 2nd June, 2013 in San Francisco
Moon in Viśākhā Nakshatra. This gives high ambition, determination, and intense emotional passion. This indicates charisma and leadership qualities, driven by goals of success and recognition. There is a strong ability for transformation, overcoming obstacles with disciplined effort. There is emotional intensity and restlessness, with a tendency toward internal conflicts. In Scorpio, this is a debilitated Moon, where the calm, nurturing and “light” qualities are overpowered by darker, somewhat more obsessive or intense emotional drives. This fits the asset of XRP well, as it is more brutal and unforgiving in nature, it is corporate and volatile, and it is here for practical financial reasons, not to nurture or uplift the people.
Ascendant in Maghā Nakshatra. This gives a regal and authoritative nature, often associated with royalty, leadership, and high social status. It is the one Nakshatra that screams “Authority”. There’s a strong connection to ancestry, tradition, and lineage, with pride in heritage and legacy. This gives a commanding presence associated with rulership. Having the Ascendant in Maghā Nakshatra is an aspect that XRP shares with both Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu.
Sun in Rohiṇī Nakshatra. This Nakshatra is productive, focused on growth using available materials. It gives stable qualities and methodical growth. It appreciates material pleasures and abundance, which is excellent for the driving force of a financial asset, with this material side being used for service-oriented goodness. It is associated with fertility and abundance.
With the Moon in Viśākhā, this asset carries intense ambition, emotional depth, and transformative drive, often navigating restlessness and internal conflicts to achieve success through disciplined effort. The Maghā Ascendant adds powerful authority, leadership, and pride in legacy, while the Sun in Rohiṇī brings methodical, material-focused growth and abundance, combining strategic power with practical, results-oriented energy. For me, this is an 8/10 match for XRP’s energy.
The “Only Time Will Tell” Test
So there’s only one way to tell the true chart, and that’s to see future price action correlate strongly with either chart. Let me give you the transiting planets for a key date this year between both charts. Hint, there’s some good alpha here.
November through January are anticipated to be bullish in the crypto market.
If the 2012 Chart is true, then by 16th November 2025, transiting Uranus will be conjunct XRP’s natal Jupiter within 2 degrees. This is simply one of the most powerful transits in Astrology. Yes, it’s 2 degrees away, but within a tight orb. Uranus is revolution, innovation, breaking free, and is the planet of crypto. It landing within 2 degrees orb of the natal Jupiter indicates breakthrough expansion. So we simply must see an undeniable significant price increase occur within days of Uranus entering Taurus, say around 16th November- 1st December for XRP.
On the other hand, if the 2013 Chart is true, then by the 25th of December, transiting Jupiter will be conjunct the natal Mercury in the 11th house. Jupiter is expansion, Mercury is trade, and the 11th house is gains. This is a strong significator of price increase, but it’s just not as powerful as the transiting Uranus conjuncting the natal Jupiter within 2 degrees as indicated in the 2012 chart. Venus also makes an exact opposition to the natal Jupiter on this day. This signature is like XRP is yearning for a price increase, but just isn’t getting it. It’s like there is a lack of discipline and responsibility in this chart, but increases in the network effect could be there.
Therefore, based on the transits of these two charts, if XRP increases significantly in price closer to 16th November than it does by 25th December, the 2012 chart will be proven correct.
Conclusion: Alt Season Will Reveal the True Chart
In the end, chart rectification is about time proving which pattern holds true. The upcoming alt season will act as the ultimate arbiter: if XRP surges around mid-November, the 2012 chart stands vindicated; if the momentum instead kicks in by late December, the 2013 chart takes the crown. Astrology, like the markets, demands patience and proof. By the close of 2025, we’ll know once and for all which sky truly gave birth to XRP, and where it is headed in the future.

Om Shanti,
Rowan
