Before it was “Cronos,” the astrological name invoking the Greek god of time (Saturn himself), CRO was simply the native token of Crypto.com. It powered the platform’s exchange, DeFi wallet, and staking system. But names matter. And when you take on the mantle of Time’s ruler, the universe tends to respond.

Fast-forward to August 26, 2025: Trump Media & Technology Group and Crypto.com announced a joint venture to launch a $6.4B crypto treasury, built primarily on CRO.

So the question is: Does the astrology back up the hype?

The Astrology Behind CRO

Aries rises on the eastern horizon. CRO’s foundational energy is bold, entrepreneurial, forward-thinking, and fiery. Uranus, planet of revolution and crypto itself, sits almost exactly on the ascendant. Within two degrees. That’s a screaming signature: innovation, rebellion, disruption. The fingerprints of Uranus are everywhere in crypto charts, and readers of my previous work will know this is no coincidence. In financial astrology, we watch Uranus more closely than eclipses.

The only caveat is Neptune in Pisces in the 12th. Normally, Neptune destabilises with illusion and fog. But here, in its own sign and house, its trickster energy is tucked away in the dream realm. It harmonises with the archetype, rather than undermining it. Loss and delusion exist, yes, but contained, hidden, even softened.

I’ve only seen this level of power in one other crypto chart I favour. That bias aside, CRO’s chart makes a big promise. Now we watch the price action to see if it delivers on that promise.

Cronos’ price chart looks similar to many other alt-coin charts, with a peak around the 2021 alt-season. It achieved a high of 0.68 USD back then, and is currently hovering around 0.21 cents, having seen an August 2025 pump of 36%.

We see the main huge increase in price for CRO take place from approximately October 2021 to mid-November 2021, where it achieves its peak of 0.68 USD.

Let’s zoom out. During this period, CRO was running a 2nd house astrological profection year, which is a time period all about everyday money, finances and resources. It was just about to enter its 3rd house profection year after 14th November, 2021.
